As a UX Designer based in Denver, Colorado, I bring a unique perspective to the field. While my degree is in Mathematics, my decade of experience as CFO in the restaurant industry has taught me firsthand about the real-world applications of Design, including UX, Product, Web, Branding, Merchandising, and Marketing. I was happy to pioneer head roles in all of these fields for our technology-forward pizzeria.

My first taste of UX Design was having the incredible opportunity to work with several leading tech companies over the past 8 years (ToastPOS, ChowNow, itsaCheckmate, Deputy, etc.). I provided valuable feedback and insights as a UX Contributor which led to significant product improvements. My track record of success in this area speaks to my passion for UX and my commitment to delivering exceptional results (see my portfolio for a sampling of my contributions).

I possess a deep and natural empathy for the needs and pain points of users, as I have been in their shoes, often in very high stakes situations. By leveraging this empathy and understanding, I am able to create user experiences that are both intuitive and engaging, driving both user satisfaction and business success.

Although I have always had a natural aptitude for numbers, I find my greatest career fulfillment in creative design and aesthetics. As I continuously study and develop my skills in UX Design, I am always eager to collaborate and learn from established and experienced teams.

My ultimate goal is to continue making a meaningful impact in the restaurant industry by designing and enhancing the technology products that restaurants use every day.
